Here’s a little breakdown of the Why behind Junipep.
Mission

The mission is simple: to create a warm, inclusive space where creativity and inspiration can thrive. Whether you’re a writer or artist (or aspiring to be), or just someone who likes to surrounded by empowering stories and people, I want Junipep to feel like a welcoming hug- including you into a readership community that celebrates individuality, connection, and good-naturedness, in all it’s forms.
Purpose

While Junipep is basically a collection of reflective thoughts and ideas by one storyteller, I had envisioned a platform to help share meaningful narratives from inspiring and empowering humans of other communities too.
Being able to advocate for unique voices that are often hard to hear, including the voiceless, is a significant part of being a good storyteller (in my opinion). And celebrating the everyday joys of pop culture, art and creativity with ones community is a wonderful way to share our experiences and offer kindness to others.
Why Junipep?

Because I wanted to create something that reflects the best of who we are- quirky, creative, and full of stories to tell.
And yes, I’m aware this isn’t everyone’s kind of thing, and that’s cool. That’s why the internet can cater to many types of communities and individuals. I would definitely encourage everyone to find people who make them feel like themselves.
The hope is for Junipep to be my way of doing some good in the world, one creative piece at a time. And I’m keen to inspire (or aspire) others to make the world a kinder place than we’re leaving it.
